Our Goals

We are committed to helping people with learning disabilities in Denbighshire become strong self-advocates. Our goals include:

  • Bringing People Together: We create spaces where people with learning disabilities can meet, share experiences, and support each other.

  • Building Confidence: We teach skills to help people express their thoughts and feelings clearly.

  • Promoting Informed Choices: We provide information and support so people can make decisions about their lives.

How You Can Get Involved

  • Attend Meetings: Come to one of our group meetings listed below to see what we’re all about.

  • Share Your Story: Tell us about your experiences and what matters to you.

  • Learn New Skills: Join our sessions to build confidence and learn how to express yourself.

We are thrilled to announce that CC4LD are now running a self-advocacy service in Denbighshire! These groups are designed to bring people together, build confidence, and provide the tools needed for effective self-advocacy. Join us to connect with others, learn new skills, and have your voice heard.

Why Self-Advocacy Matters

Self-advocacy helps people with a wide range of learning disabilities to take control of their lives. It empowers individuals to make choices, speak up about their needs, and participate in their communities.

Our Denbighshire Self Advocacy Groups
