What is the Back to the Future Service?

The aim of the Back to the future service is to support individuals with a learning disability and their parents/carers to plan for and help them during a transition.

Our Service:

  • Will help anyone who is not sure which way to go next.

  • Will provide you and your family with an action plan

If the aim of the service, in any way describes your situation or the situation of a member of your family, then this exciting Person-Centred service could well be for you.

Our purpose is to ask the following questions:

  • What Happened?

Chalk drawing of a question mark on a blackboard.
  • What have we learnt from what's happened?

Three people sitting at a table, engaging in a learning activity with the words 'Keep learning' written on an orange sign at the bottom, and colorful geometric shapes in the background.
  • What ideas can we come up with from what we've learnt?

A man sitting in a wheelchair wearing a red jacket and blue jeans, smiling, with his right hand raised and index finger pointing up, and a large lightbulb icon next to him on the left side.
  • What Next? (We’ll make a plan to keep things moving.)

A man is explaining about a process involving a photo of two people and a bowling ball, using a sign with 'Now' and 'Next' labels.
